This year, as a church, we are going to explore an ongoing theme.
That theme is this:
following Jesus by loving God and loving others.
This phrase is going to be a way that we can explore our core vocation as a church here at CBC.
‘Following Jesus’ is about our life of discipleship,
‘loving God’ refers to our lives of worship
and ‘loving others’ looks at our mission life as a church.
These are three aspects of our church ministry that need to find a place of balance in our common life together.
So, during 2016, we are going to explore this theme in different ways – through our Sunday mornings, through our church meetings, and through our small groups and teams – helping us to see how we can live out these words.
